• From 1993 until 1995 studies in business administration, HEC (Ecole des hautes etudes commerciales), Université de Lausanne, Switzerland
• From 1995 until 2000 law studies at Bielefeld University
• First state law examination in 2000
• 2002 - 2004 Legal clerkship (amongst others at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and in an international lawyer’s office in Paris)
• Admission to the bar in 2005
• 2006/2007 Specialisation in companies and commercial law
